Thank you for using HealthyMeal - AI Meal Plans and Beginner Workout Management. Please check the FAQ below for app usage and troubleshooting.
Q1.Are body data or meal records entered in the app sent to the developer or third parties?▼
No, they are not sent. The app is designed with privacy first. Body data, weight, meals, workout history, and other data you enter are stored only on your own device locally. They are not sent or collected by the developer or external servers, so you can use the app with confidence.
Q2.Can I transfer my data when changing devices?▼
Because the app stores data locally, it does not provide a general server-based transfer system. However, if you restore your new device from a full iPhone iCloud backup or an encrypted iTunes/Finder backup, the app data may be transferred together. Please make a full iPhone backup before changing devices.
Q3.Can ingredients I excluded still appear in meal plans?▼
The "ingredients you do not want to use" feature excludes recipes that contain the ingredients you set. However, because it checks for exact matches with ingredient names in the recipe database, similar names or processed foods may not be excluded.
If you need special dietary consideration, please always check ingredients and labels yourself immediately before cooking or eating.
Q4.I was injured while doing a workout menu.▼
Menus automatically generated or recommended by the app are general training suggestions and cannot fully judge each person's physical condition, exercise ability, or posture. Please exercise at a pace that is reasonable for your condition. The developer cannot accept responsibility for injuries, sudden illness, accidents, property damage, or similar issues caused by use of the app.
Q5.I want to cancel or request a refund for the paid subscription "Shiba Supporter."▼
All payments in the app are processed through Apple's App Store payment system. Shiba Supporter is provided as an auto-renewable subscription (¥480/month or ¥3,900/year).
To cancel the subscription, open the iPhone Settings app > your account name at the top > Subscriptions, select HealthyMeal, and cancel it there.
Because the developer cannot process refunds directly, please request a refund from Apple through Apple's Report a Problem page.
Q6.I paid for the app, but it later became free. Is there any compensation?▼
Users who purchased the paid version (Early Supporters) can use all Shiba Supporter premium features for free permanently as a thank-you benefit. This benefit is automatically detected and applied inside the app, so no special procedure is required. Please check the celebration message shown when you open the app.
Q7.I selected "Don't Allow" for Health integration and cannot reconnect.▼
Due to iOS system security restrictions, the Health permission popup appears only the first time.
Step A: Enable it from the Health app
Open the Health app from the iPhone home screen
Tap the profile icon in the upper right
Tap Privacy > Apps
Select HealthyMeal
Turn on all switches
Step B: Enable it from the iOS Settings app
Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Health
Select HealthyMeal and turn on all permission switches
Q8.I am not receiving notifications or reminders.▼
First, check whether notifications are allowed in iOS Settings > Notifications > HealthyMeal. Next, check whether each reminder (meals, hydration, workouts) is turned on in the app's My Page tab > Notification Settings. If notifications still do not arrive, restart your iPhone and try again.
Q9.Where can I use the SNS share card?▼
Tap the share button (□↑ icon) in the upper right of the Home screen to generate a card image summarizing the day's calories, PFC, water intake, streak, and Shiba dog level. You can share it directly to Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), LINE, and other apps.
Q10.What is the rewarded ad bonus?▼
On the free plan, you may receive a Shiba dog growth EXP bonus by voluntarily watching a rewarded ad to the end. Ads may not be available depending on loading conditions or your network environment, and premium users are not shown ads.
Q11.Which devices and OS versions are supported?▼
HealthyMeal supports iPhone on iOS 17.0 or later. It may be usable on iPad, but screen display and some features are based on iPhone use. Health integration and notifications may vary depending on device settings and iOS permission status.
Q12.What are BMR and TDEE?▼
BMR is an estimate of the calories needed to maintain basic life functions even at rest. TDEE is an estimate of total daily energy expenditure, calculated by multiplying BMR by an activity factor. HealthyMeal calculates BMR from height, weight, age, sex, and body fat percentage, then displays TDEE while accounting for activity level. It shows target calorie intake estimates below TDEE for weight loss periods and above TDEE for weight gain periods, but this is not a medical diagnosis. If you have health concerns, please consult a physician or specialist.
